BACK FROM MALACCA

Back from Malacca. Had lotsa fun and joy! Memories!
Love this trip!
(*I had a hard time uploading the pics. Reached home and immediately when to update blog. Am i nice or what? *)

Went to Mama's hse on Friday with sharon. Stayed over of course. Meemee, sharon, sis and i slept in Jonathan's room since he is in army. So cold! And we woke up at 5am in the morning on saturday.

13/1/2007
Woke up and bathed at 5am.
Bus or rather an eleven seater came to fetch us.
Who went to Malacca? Seated at the 4back seats are: weiyun(*kevin kor's gf*), her mum, her bro(*zhi shang i think*) and kevin korkor.
Seated at the middle three seats: sis, sharon and me.
From seat: Rosemary auntie, ahyi and mama.
Beside driver: Meemee!

And then we set off.
So sleepy in the bus.
Kinda afraid at first. Why?
Because raining and kia will flood mahx.
Malaysia sounds like a not so safe place to me everytime.
Then reached the causeway.
Went down and took the passport(*duh*). Then the person(*officer*) seems to doubt that i am the person in the picture. T.T should i be happy or what. But of course, he let me across.
And then to M'sia area. Officially off hp le. Sad and missing people!
FIRST STOP: Temple! It's hei guan yin(*black guanyin in direct translation*) They said it's very accurate one. And we of course went there to pray. But they said only Singaporeans can go. In malaysia but only Singaporeans can go? Hmmm.
Went in. Guanyin is really black. And trust me, it's accurate! And i love guanyin!
Then made a wish. Or rather, many wishes.
Then we left...
SECOND STOP: If i am not wrong is LUNCH! Had lunch at a really awesome "paranakan- styled" place. Spicy food yet yummy! The chendol they served is AWESOME! YUMMY LAR! Singapore's chendol, cannot compare one lo. Little but NICE!
THIRD STOP: Went to a place that sells honey and other honey/bees product. And i learnt more about bees! They sold the best honey/bees product(*got proof one leh*). And i decided, i shall make honey/bee product my top beauty products. The royal jelly and all. Helps in balancing hormones. Awesome.
FOURTH STOP: I don't know what it is called(*went there and you can forget?!*). But there's alot of red red buildings. Christ church of Melaka is there too. That place is nice. But kevin korkor went down the bus/van and knocked his head on the signboard(*which had sharp edges*). Being the very nice guy he is, everyone is worried. And the cut is quite deep, might leave behind scars.(*he applied the bee/honey cream and no scars.*).
Then walked around. Lovely and sweet place. Lots to see.

FIFTH STOP:
Some kinda well one. About the well in malacca

SIXTH STOP:
Some ZhengHe thingy.
Paid RM3 each to see.


After that, we were all dying to get to SHOPPING! The ride was long. But of course, not that boring. Why? We had lame jokes, bangbang jokes, iq questions. Ok, they are all lame. And it's lamer and lamer each time. Esp the bangbang joke, can't wait to display my talent in that. Hahas! But before that, we had to check in. AND I LOVE THE PLACE(*MAHKOTA*) WE STAYED AT. It's not exactly a hotel and not exactly a chalet. They called it the apartment.

Meemee, sis, sharon, mama, rosemarry auntie, ahyi and i one apartment. Then kevin korkor and his gf's family one apartment.
One apartment=three bedrooms, one kitchen, one hall and one balcony. Not forgetting two toilets of course.

FIFTH PLACE:
Then placed our stuff there and off we head to shop!
Let me see Damage done. Actually, i didn't really buy alot.
Forgot the shopping center name. =X
I BOUGHT:
- A S&K cap (*RM10) ---- CHEAP LAR
- A wallet (*RM10) -----FREAKINGLY CHEAP
- A checked guy's top. A fake A&F(*RM59) ----- REASONABLE LA HOR
- A pinky bolster(*RM8)------cheap
- A voodoo purple earing(*3 for RM10) ----CHEAP LA
That's all. Cheap right. Saw a super nice jumper, but then, gave it a skip.
My sis bought alot of checkered top too.
Sharon spent the least. But in total, including the other aunties, we bought alot of bolsters! ALOT!

SIXTH STOP:
Jonker Walk.
A masar palam style place.
Ate there. And alot of us had problem with our stomach. Must be some kinda traveler's sickness.
Wasted! The food there is awesome la!
But for the people that don't dare to eat food that are sold on the road then too bad! (*whiny kids...rolls eyes*).
Some food that are dirty, are nice one lo.
Even rosemary auntie says that.
Freakingly nice and cheap!
4siew mais for RM1.50.
SEE HOW CHEAP.
Walked around.
I bought a bag(*RM18*). SO CHEAP CAN!
Then Rosemary auntie bought a ring for sharon, sis and me,

Then due to our tummy upset, we all left for our "hotel". But weiyun and kevin korkor left already. Weiyun too was having tummyache. T.T
Ate the orange sweet pill and we felt better.
HUNGRY!
Meemee ordered food.
Yummms.
We ate!
And of course, the adults decided to turn in.
So we played with UNO but got sian-ed later.
So we turned in early after some lazing around.


14/7/07
Woke up at around 7plus.
It was freezing cold in there!
FREEZING. Can't really sleep properly.
So we stretched and left for buffet breakfast. And the lift is freaking retarded. It tends to stop at 14, doors open and might not close for a long time. At first, we were freaked out, but later, it's just the way it's programmed.

Breakfast was nice!
After that, we walked around and went to check out.
First stop:
(*asking sis, i FORGOT!*)
Went to this place that sells Malacca foodstuff.
Had Chendol there. And you need to buy coupon and then give the person.
Saw a very innovative way of holding the bowls.
YUMMY!

SECOND STOP:
Lunch! Had the Chicken RIce balls!
YUMMY!!!
NICE!! But the chicken abit too chewy.

THIRD STOP:
Walked the Jonker Walk. But it transformed into a normal place with shop houses. No more pasar malam and cars can pass.
The roads will only be closed at 6PM.
Cool right.
Meemee bought Pineapple tarts(*she nearly got scam!*)
FOURTH STOP:
A Shopping mall in Johor.
BIG but no time. Saw a really cool way for cutting the coconut!!
SIXTH STOP:
DINNER! FULL!

And after that head home!
TIRED now!
